User

A user represents an entity, individual or business unit holding assets and transacting. Each user may have one or more wallets that can hold balances and process transactions for supported cryptocurrencies and tokens.

A user could be:

  • A human account holder or customer in your system

  • A department, fund or other organizational group in your company

Withdrawal quotas and other security controls are applied at the user level. User quota and user group quota together determine the withdrawal quota for each associated wallet.

Your system should handle the mapping of your internal users, customers or applications to users in our platform. When creating a user through API, you need to provide a unique reference_id so that user on both sides can be properly mapped.

We do not store or have access to any personally identifiable information about your human users. Our platform simply uses the concept of a "user" to represent an account security principal and apply controls according to your business needs and risk management requirements. The only mandatory info you should provide is a unique reference_id.
